Probably taken around 1979 when I was 11 years old. My younger sister Justine is in the middle and friend Jackie is on the right. Jackie died tragically in a horse riding accident about ten years ago.

Drawing #1
STATIC ROLE PLAY INVESTIGATIONS
The latest in a series of drawings whilst I am working on more video footage. There is a conversation I am trying to start between real time conversations around boundary transgression, classical anatomical depictions, and finally, an esoteric / mythological aspect. This part hasn't been resolved yet. A friend suggested using Darth Vader but that just doesn't seem right.

CONCERT AT BMW EDGE
Bringing together several of this country's leading sonic experimentalists this monumental collaboration including Oren Ambarchi and Marco Fusinato will take the form of a single epic work incorporating elements from a wide and divergent spectrum of approaches and disciplines: from the home spun motorised guitars of Sydneysider Brendan Walls to the piano interventions of James Rushford to the synaesthesiac laser projections of Robin Fox.
The show was great. Have to say that I really enjoyed the ol' smoke and laser effects!
El Automovil Gris
TEATRO CIERTOS HABITANTES
The 1919 Mexican silent film El Automovil Gris was the biggest hit of its day. Mixing fiction and reality, it tells the story of The Grey Automobile Gang who terrorised Mexico City during the chaos of the Revolution. This 21st century Mexican theatre production juxtaposes the classic film with live actors and brilliantly improvised piano music. Inspired by the Japanese Benshi tradition, with actors onstage voicing the characters onscreen, El Automovil Gris takes the audience on a wild, exhilarating ride that crisscrosses languages, cultures and time.
AMAZING! Fascinating working method. This show was a total treat.
