About 3 months spent in the States doing a lot of miles in the car. You gotta love Auto Drive Away. And horizons. This would be somewhere on the way from Louisiana to Fresno on Route 10.

Geometric designs

Show at Seventh Gallery
" Self-Loathing and Ambition drink together™ "
A short motion piece that has sprung out of the general notion of mono-cultural programming. All action is shot from in front of the camera and 99% of the roles are played by the one person. The concept of a monoculture is based on planting a single crop, but I am extending it to address the legacy of various roles inherited over time, i.e. identity politics and intentions and using variations on role play to visualise a multiple self contained within the present.
You can see the show in the window of 155 Gertrude Street Fitzroy after 6pm for the next 3 weeks.
