Shots!

There is a liqueur shot called the 'sidecar' which as far as I know is made up of an equal measure of cointreau and chatreuse. Yeech, let someone else do the driving! Anyway, the sidecar racing was super exciting watching them burn rubber and skid around the chicanes. The entire day showed that it is one thing to get around the track quickly but another thing altogether to race in a pack and overtake. Much respect.

Beautiful day parked by the S bend. Heavy hard to handle bikes plus ameteur riders made for heart in mouth action. Lots of respect.

2011 Southern Classic Festival of Motorcycles

After deciding against going down to Phillip Island because of bad weather this has popped up on the near horizon! Very excitement! Weekend 29/30 october.
The Southern Classic Festival of Motorcycles at Broadford celebrates historic motorcycle activity with racing as the focal point. The Southern Classic race has been run continuously since 1978 and incorporates pre war through to 1980 sidecar and solo machines, by the Historic Motorcycle Racing Association of Victoria. State Motorcycle Complex, 101 Strath Creek Road, Broadford, Victoria 3501 Australia.

2011 Graduate Show

Time to flat pack the students and ship them off to their new posts. Show is Tuesday 25th October at Fairfield campus 6-8pm. Cheese squares, kabana, and doughnuts of course. If you become a graphic designer you too can look forward to inertia and obesity.
